Welcome back, friends and family! Berkeley Formula Racing is kicking off the year with an incredible start.

After a promising session of testing at Crows Landing, the team set its sights on gold at the SoCal Shootout at Willow Springs International Raceway.
This year, we took GOLD at SoCal Shootout once again, continuing last year’s winning streak! We competed in the ICE division, facing off against other California-based Formula SAE teams—including USC, Cal Poly SLO, UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, and Cal State Northridge. Throughout the afternoon, we set the fastest lap times to secure 1st place, with USC and Cal Poly SLO rounding out the podium respectively.
We are proud to share that we led the fastest lap by 2.17 seconds! Building on our strong performance at the Michigan Formula SAE 2024, our victory at SoCal Shootout once again demonstrated B24‘s reliability and excellence as well as our team’s diligence and determination.
